A Little About Me

My Story

I have a Bachelor of Business and I worked in the funds management field for many years. I decided to pursue my passion for psychology and completed my Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies (Distinction) at Western Sydney University in 2014. I completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2015. My honours thesis, "Does erotic priming result in racist attitudes: Investigating racist attitudes in the Dark Triad" was supervised by Dr Peter Jonason.

I am currently completing my doctoral studies at Western Sydney University under the supervision of Dr Peter Jonason and Dr Ahmed Moustafa. I am investigating personality factors associated with both intersexual and intrasexual competition. My second PhD project relates to individual differences in personality and hormonal changes that relate to ovulation.

I undertake research in personality psychology, evolutionary psychology, and human sexuality.

I am a member of Psychological Science Accelerator, which supports open science.

I am a founding member of  Australasian Society for Human Behaviour and Evolution. The home of evolutionary psychology in Australia.

My research interests extend to intrasexual competition, human sexuality, social endocrinology, personality, and social-personality psychology.
